Here at Northampton Vapour blasting, we have taken our passion for motorcycle restoration and classic cars a step further. Having restored our own parts for many years, we are now pleased to offer this service to like minded enthusiasts. Whether you’re restoring a bike, car, boat or indeed sewing machine, we’d love to help with your project! We pride ourselves on offering you a fast, friendly and economic service. Nothing leaves our workshop until we would be happy to use it!
PROCESSES
Wet and dry processes available. Vapour (Aqua) blasting is very gentle and is mainly used for cleaning 'raw' Aluminium components. Dry Cabinet blasting is designed to remove paint and heavy surface detritus from a variety of materials. The dry process, often referred to as 'bead blasting', is best applied to components that are going to be re-painted or powder coated, it leaves a better surface finish for the coating to adhere to. We are able to effectively clean most components back to a 'factory' condition. Speak to us regarding which process best meets your restoration requirements.
SERVICES
We can offer vapour blasting or dry blasting of many components. All work is carried out using a variety of wet and dry 'media' according to the finish required. From a Titanium Sump plug to a complete engine, nothing, subject to size limitations, is beyond our capabilities.
PRICING
Please e-mail or message us on social media with photographs of your components for an exact costing. Please note: Components should be grease and oil free prior to Vapour Blast cleaning. If you are unable to carry out this process, we are able to steam clean components for a small fee.
